Storacall TeleAcoustics has added the new 'T5000 Marine' Anti-static communications hood to their range of telephone hoods, kiosks, booths and enclosures. The T5000 range of hoods has been independently tested to a high level of noise reduction of up to 23.9dB.

The Anti-static version has been robustly designed for use in potentially explosive atmospheres and is manufactured to exceed requirements of IEC 60079-0:2011: Clause 26.13. The hood is intrinsically conductive with no dangerous build-up of surface static charges. The unit is supplied as standard in high gloss carbon black finish.

The hood's outer shell is fitted with a perforated polyethylene lining that houses 50mm non-hygroscopic premium acoustic insulation. Fitted to the inner back wall is a 316 stainless steel apparatus plate with optional 316 stainless steel shelf with easy cable entry.

The hood is fixed to the wall via two 316 stainless steel brackets that are secured through the hood's back panel enabling a load of up to 60 kgs to be safely mounted and the overall dimensions are: H920mm W700mm D600mm.
