At Storacall TeleAcoustics, we are dedicated to providing you with the highest quality products. In our continuous efforts to deliver exceptional quality, we sent range of products to Axis Test Laboratories, providers of specialist testing to Marine, Defence, Rail and Industrial sectors to fully test our products against extreme conditions. Unlike other suppliers of these type of products we required rigorous evaluation by testing the entire product, not just small sample pieces from selected parts of the assembly

Axis Test Laboratories conducted thorough testing on our products under three critical conditions:

• Dry heat

• Cold temperatures

• Salt mist exposure

The results of these tests affirm our confidence in the durability and reliability of our specification and construction.

Here's a brief overview of the tests completed:

Dry Heat Testing Results

During the dry heat tests, our products displayed impressive resistance. Visual inspections revealed no damage, distortion, or corrosion. All materials remained intact without observable delamination or discolouration. This reassures us that our products can withstand high-temperature environments effectively.

Cold Temperature Testing Results

Cold temperature tests were designed to assess the robustness of our products under extreme cold. After exposing the units to -25°C for the BS standard's specified amount of time, an impact test was conducted using a 50mm steel ball dropped from 1.3 meters. The results were equally impressive, with no visible damage or deformation.

Corrosion Testing Results

The neutral salt spray test is crucial for evaluating how well our products handle marine environments. Despite prolonged exposure to a salt mist, all test items emerged with no significant signs of corrosion. Only minor discolouration was noted on some metallic surfaces, but there was no measurable loss of material. The T5000 Marine Hood was initially tested with the protective tape still in place. To assess the unexposed parts, the hood was retested without the tape. After rinsing, no visible damage, discolouration, or corrosion was found, and rivets and metallic components showed no signs of corrosion. In areas previously exposed, there was no additional corrosion present. Therefore the T5000 was mostly exposed to these conditions twice as much as required by the BS standard
