Music-on-Hold system with announcement/ACD
message and programmable auto-timer facilities.
The Chopin provides a high quality music on-hold
solution with many additional features to improve the service provided to telephone
callers.
The system employs advanced digital audio technology
to play music or information to callers placed on hold. It can also simultaneously
answer and play announcements to other callers on direct lines or feed announcements
into an ACD system. The Chopin can be equipped with 5, 9 or 13 minutes of voice
memory, easily upgradable, which can be split between music and announcements
and the unit can store one music section and as many as nine different announcements.
A common announcement can be presented on
all three lines, or the system can play a different announcement on each line
or ACD port.
The built-in Auto-Timer can switch the announcement
function on and off so that the system is, for example, providing music on hold
during the working day with information announcements being automatically activated
outside business hours. Up to 7 different announcement switching patterns can
be programmed, each of which defines a day-long schedule. Switching patterns are
then assigned to days of the week and to holidays so the appropriate service is
being offered whatever the day or time.

Chopin MOH-39R Features: |
|
|
Solid-State
Digital Audio Announcements
Digital audio technology accurately reproduces recorded music and announcements
every time. A high sampling rate (64 kbps) ensures that announcements are always
clear and natural sounding. |
|
|
Music-On-Hold
A dedicated recording channel and output is provided for Music-on-Hold audio.
When the Chopin is connected to a Key System or PABX music input, held callers
will hear the on-hold recording from the Chopin (Continuous-play, dry-contact
start or DC start). |
|
|
Non-Barge-In Announcing
Every caller hears the announcement from its beginning, without delay. |
|
|
Up To 9 Outgoing Announcements
As many as 9 different announcements can be recorded and can be assigned to play
on any line. Alternately, the programmable Auto-Timer provides automatic switching
of a common announcement throughout the day, week and on holidays. |
|
|
Separate Announcement For
Each Line
Any outgoing announcement can be assigned to play on any line, allowing you to
split the system into 2 or 3 line groups. This feature makes the Chopin compatible
with PABX/ACD announcing applications where multiple intercept announcements must
be presented on multiple ports (Auto-Timer unavailable). |
|
|
Expandable Recording Capacity
Voice memory configurations 0f 5, 9, or 13 minutes are possible, through the use
of plug-in voice memory cards (4 minutes per card). |
|
|
Programmable Automatic Timer
The built-in Auto-Timer can switch the announcement heard by callers throughout
the day, week and on holidays. The Auto-Timer can also be used to switch the answering
function on and off. Up to 7 different announcement switching patterns can be
programmed, each of which defines a day-long schedule. Switching patterns are
then assigned to days of the week and to holidays (up to 56 holidays). Start and
stop dates for Daylight Savings Time can also be programmed, assuring accurate
announcement switching year-round. |
|
|
Remote Access
The Chopin allows remote access from any tone-dialling (DTMF) telephone. Remote
features include a 4-digit programmable Security Code, recording and playback
of any outgoing announcement, assignment of announcements to lines and on/off
control. |
|
|
Call Counters
The LCD display on the Chopin's front panel allows viewing of the total number
of calls answered, as well as the number of calls answered on each line. |
|
|
Simple To Operate
The Chopin is easy to install and use as an Announcer. Just plug it in, record
your announcement(s) and press the Answer button. |
|
|
